Looks like it is time to sell the BX22 and move up to a 40hp or so machine. I'm adding on to our 11 acres and I just don't think the BX will be up to more land. I put it in the classifieds last night :( This is one tractor I'll miss and probably kick myself for getting rid of later.

I have 9 Acres and currently have my 24 hp John Deere in the ctb classifieds for the same reason. The smaller tractors seam to be more suited for the weekend warrior who does light landscaping work. For them a 20-25 hp tractor is the ideal machine. For pulling stumps and clearing land a bigger machine appears to be the choice. I am currently looking at the NH 35 - 40 hp. Good luck. ....

You might want to check out the Kioti DK series of tractors if you have a dealer near you. Great tractors for thousands less then the green or blue tractors. And no I am not a dealer.

With Kioti it seems like you get a decent tractor for the price. By the time I buy another tractor I may just go ahead and get a 60hp model with a cab. I don't want to wear out my young 25yr old body :) ....

The Kioti's seem to better than any of the Chinese tractors and as good as the green and blue tractors. Haven't heard of any weak metal problems on them. ie pump shaft twist or shear.
